Student Jobs
Every year, we invite pupils to apply for jobs that help make Oak Farm an even better place to learn and play. One of our six learning behaviours is responsibility, and these roles give children a chance to put it into practice: contributing to school life, working with others and taking pride in what they do. Take a look at the current vacancies and, if a role interests you, we would love you to apply!
“I think learning BSL at our school is amazing because it means we can communicate with people who struggle with language and help everyone feel included in conversations. I wanted to become a BSL Ambassador because I love learning new signs and helping others learn too. If I meet someone who uses BSL, I might be able to have a proper conversation with them and make them feel welcome. I feel really happy and proud to be a BSL Ambassador because I’m helping our school become a place where everyone can communicate, feel included and make friends.”
– Heer Chopra, Oak Farm BSL Ambassador
“I feel really happy being a School Councillor because I know that people at Oak Farm listen to what I have to say. It's important that children have a voice because we can share our ideas and help make our school even better. When people listen to you and respect your ideas, it makes you feel happy, excited and part of the school. I know I can make a difference and I think listening to children helps teachers make our learning more fun too! I love coming to Oak Farm because it's a place where we have fun, learn new things and everyone can have a say.”
– Mason Nash, School Councillor, Oak Farm Primary School
