Ofsted reports

Our School Improvement Journey

Oak Farm Primary School was inspected by Ofsted in 2024, the first inspection following the amalgamation of the infant and junior schools. Since then, the school has worked with determination to address the areas identified for improvement and to strengthen the quality and consistency of provision for all pupils.

We have made significant changes across the school, including strengthening behaviour and routines, early reading and phonics, SEND provision, curriculum sequencing, teaching and learning, attendance, and leadership and accountability. These improvements are supported by clearer systems for monitoring impact and a sustained programme of professional development for staff.

School improvement is an ongoing journey. We continue to evaluate our work carefully, celebrate the progress that has been made and remain focused on the areas where further improvement is needed.
