Golden Rules

At Oak Farm Primary School, our approach to behaviour is built around three simple, consistent principles:

Be Ready • Be Safe • Be Respectful

These expectations provide a common language for behaviour across the school. They help children understand what positive behaviour looks like, while ensuring that adults respond calmly, consistently and predictably.

The principles apply everywhere and to everyone, but what they look like in practice will vary depending on a child’s age and the context — from the classroom and playground to the lunch hall, corridors and assemblies.
