Welcome

Welcome to Oak Farm Primary School where I am extremely privileged to be the Headteacher. Formally Oak Farm Infants and Oak Farm Junior School, these schools amalgamated in 2021 to form Oak Farm Primary School.

Oak Farm is a large, three-form entry primary school in the Borough of Hillingdon (situated on Windsor Avenue). The school is set on a large site with lots of beautiful outdoor space including playing fields and large playgrounds. We currently have 540 children in the mainstream (KS1/2) and 52 in the Nursery for each session. We offer morning and afternoon Nursery places as well as an all day option. We aspire to help every child in our care to develop as a whole person, becoming confident, happy, independent, creative and adaptable; to love learning and achieve more than they ever thought possible.  Our experienced and well-established teaching team have high expectations and aspirations for all our pupils and we never stop trying to find new ways of promoting learning.

We are a child centred community school, placing the children’s best interests at the heart of what we do. I am passionate about school improvement  and involving all stakeholders in decision making so that we can provide the best educational experiences for the children. The parent and school relationship is essential and we place great importance on the dialogue between families and school.

We offer both a breakfast club and after-school club, as well as a wide range of extra-curricular clubs. Sports and competitions are a real strength to the school. We take part in a range of competitions representing not only the school but also Hillingdon borough at a regional level.

The school has an active PTA known as Friends of Oak Farm (FoOF) who organise and run a variety of events, such as our summer fair, school discos, firework nights and our very own circus, in order to raise funds and support specific projects within the school. For example, we have had new benches in our front reception area, new canopy covers in all our three playgrounds and also brought some resources for our nursery, i.e. play sand and water table.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family into our school community. Our children are the best advertisement for our school, so if you would like to arrange a visit, we’d be delighted to show you around.
